Olives are a dominant accompaniment in Cretan and Mediterranean cuisine. The beloved fruit is rich in valuable substances with strong antioxidant activity. Antioxidants reduce oxidative stress and protect body’s cells from damage. It should be noted that each variety of olives differs not only in taste but also in nutrients. Studies show that black olives contain more phenolic compounds than the green ones.
Marinated in extra virgin olive oil and packed in certified food bags, which are sealed airtight, the risk of spoilage is minimized, while their nutrients are securely preserved.
Combine them with tomato, cucumber, rusk and, of course with a glass of Cretan “tsikoudia” or wine.
Ingredients: Mixed Olives, Water, Citric Acid, without added salt, lactic acid. Keep in a dry and cool place, away from the sunlight. After opening, keep in the refrigerator.
